Growing up I played competitive ringette, enjoyed fastball, soccer, water skiing, downhill skiing, and running, among other activities. The more I used my body, the more I was intrigued by how it works and to make it work better. While my journey was ignited by curiosity for the human body, I never dreamt that I could have found a practice as impactful as Manual Osteopathy.

While pursuing a degree in Kinesiology (the study of body movement) at the University of Calgary, I was introduced to Manual Osteopathy. The practice was gentle, mindful, systemically comprehensive and profoundly intriguing.  Needless to say, I was beyond fascinated by its benefits! Upon the completion of my degree, I enrolled in the five-year program through the Canadian School of Osteopathy- Manual Practice in Vancouver to become an Osteopathic Manual Therapist.

What I love most about Manual Osteopathy is its appreciation for the interconnectedness and complexity of the human body. We work with each individual on a physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual level to restore harmony between body systems and promote overall well being.

When not practicing Manual Osteopathy you can find me spending time with friends and family, camping, boating, skiing, gardening, biking, running, or spending time with my pup.

I look forward to helping you along your health and wellness journey.

From a young age, I have always had a passion for health, staying active, and taking care of myself. I grew up playing multiple sports, which taught me so many lessons. Everything from the importance of being a part of a team and community, to how to properly fuel and move my body.

Through my experience as a Registered Nurse, I’ve realized the importance of preventative health and am therefore on a mission to help individuals lead a healthier lifestyle. Working in the hospital and seeing all the gaps in our modern medical system is what led me into the field of Holistic Nutrition. I wanted to be able to help people at a deeper level. Help them find the root cause of their health issues, and assist them in achieving lasting health and vitality. No more band-aid solutions! In saying this, my time and experience working in the nursing field is something I would never want to change. It has provided me with a vast amount of knowledge and a different perspective on health. I believe modern medicine has a time and a place and alot of us wouldn’t be here today without it, but there is also so much value in taking a holistic preventative approach to health.

I love the field of Holistic Nutrition because it brings health back to the basics, focusing on the simple foundations: nutrition, movement, sleep, and emotions.  My goal is to help you transform your nutritional habits to one for health and healing. I want to help you gain a strong knowledge foundation around nutrition and lifestyle so you can be the best and healthiest version of yourself. After working with me, you should feel as if you’ve achieved lasting lifestyle changes, and feel empowered and knowledgeable when it comes to health and wellness.

When I am not working, you can most likely find me in the kitchen or the garden, hanging out with friends and family, spending time at our family cabin on the Shuswap, or fishing with my husband and puppy! Some of my favorite activities include water skiing, running, biking, and hiking!

I can’t wait to meet you!

Why Energi?

Inspired by Swedish + Norwegian origin

Energy is something that we discuss often in Manual Osteopathy and Nutrition. It is a measure of physical capacity,  mental drive,  overall health. But why  Scandic origin you ask? Norway and Sweden are two countries that hold a special place in our  hearts;  They are the birthplaces of two of our great grandparents.  Having travelled through both countries and spent time immersed in the Scandinavian culture, we've  come to appreciate their simple, practical and purposeful way of life; something we both strive to practice.
